About Little Duckling

The philosophy of Little Duckling is children’s clothes for children; clothes they are happy to play in, and that feel comfortable. The inspiration for Little Duckling comes from the colourful clothes typical of the Scandinavian roots of head designer Rosa Wiland, mixed with more traditional English styles with a hint of vintage thrown in. This makes for an elegant and practical collection with garments suitable for all occasions. We use quality natural fabrics, mainly 100% cotton, or mixed with merino wool for warmth in the winter. Our prices are kept at an affordable level so that they can be enjoyed by all.

Little Duckling is one of a kind with a strong image and great design. The garments are thoughtfully designed with playful details, making them stand out from the crowd. The collections have a look that has gained a strong and loyal following, admired by parents and children across the UK and Europe, the brand has grown steadily since its launch in 2008, now stocked in shops around the world.

Little Duckling Founder & Designer Rosa Wiland was born near Copenhagen, Denmark in 1975. She studied ladies fashion design at the Danish Design College from 1999 to 2004, on achieving her MA she was awarded the prestigious National Bank Prize for the student showing the most potential. Thereafter she moved to London, where she worked as a fashion designer for the high street from 2004 to 2008.
